I had my oil changed at John Harvey Toyota in Bossier last week and the service department did an awful job! Oil was spewed all under the hood of my car.
In addition, they forgot to place the new maintenance sticker in my car windshield. Had to spend time and waste gas going back to pick up new sticker.

After 30 second look at my trade in, offered me $2k. I sold it @ KBB price of $7k 4 weeks later. Offered me $500 military discount on phone. Arrived to sign papers and manager said they could not give discount to me.
I brought my car to this dealership when the battery light came on. It turned out that the alternator broke and it was over $800 to fix so I decided to buy another used car instead. I looked at John Harvey, and, at first, Matthias Buechler and Randy Davis(whom we had a connection to) were friendly and helpful. They chose cars and gave me a quote that would fit my budget. Stay away from this dishonest crooked dealership!
I signed a 36 month on a 2019 Toyota TRD Sport, John Harvey Toyota in Bossier City LA. I did not know the vehicle had a safety recall or class action lawsuit over a fuel pump issue. Then 6 months into the lease, the truck started sputtering and died on the road. Then at the 9 month mark it started doing it every couple days and dying on the highways, intersections,and on streets. Ben picked me up from my house (twice) and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied in my new vehicle. The entire place was very clean, welcoming, and overall very nice. We had our 2004 Lexus GX470 serviced. The service staff were all very polite and accommodating. We felt very confident in their service. Billy Jones was great and even made some maintenance recommendations without the all-too-common high pressure tactics. Thank you for an excellent service experience. We will be back!
Casey Mcgrew was our salesman, he was the most pleasant & efficient salesman ever! We had just bought new car from another dealership in Dec 2016, & after 2 months of being a disaster & them making promises about "service after the sale" it was a nightmare! I brought my Toyota 4Runner in for servicing prior to two out of town trips. Mun Kelley greeted me very promptly, ascertained what needed to be done and arranged for the tires to be rotated, safety check, fluids topped off and a coutesy wash. This was all completed in a timely matter.

I've been using John Harvey Toyota since I bought my first car there back in 2005. Since then, I've purchased 5 vehicles there and I haven't had any issues. I use the service center for all of my cars because of their courtesy and professionalism. Prior to Bill, I've dealt with Darlene Miller (Who was great) and a few other of the service reps. All deserve a thumbs up for there work. I will continue to take my cars there and when I get around to buying another one, they will be my first and only stop.
Darlene Miller was excellent. I explained to her the problem with a squeaky noise coming from my tire. I made an appointment. My son dropped it off and the dealership gave him a ride home. Thank God, because I had to work and could not drop it by. Darlene called me, explained the problem and I was so excited it was taken care of so quickly. Brought my Rav4 in for 15,000 mile service. Darlene Miller, Service Manager, and the great folks in the shop took good care of my Rav. Wait was just about an hour, which was estimated and relaxed, had coffee and watched TV in the customer lounge. Been purchasing cars from and servicing them at John Harvey Toyota for years. Would not go anywhere else. The folks treat you more like family rather then a customer. Appreciate the great customer appeal.
William Gunn was my service writer and took care of me promptly. He knew what to do with the 40,000 mile inspection and brought to my attention a couple of things that needed to be addressed.

I just took my Toyota Camry in for its first 5000 maintenance. I had scheduled an appointment. From my experience with some other dealers, an appointment does not seem to mean much, I seem to wait as long as if I had come in without an appointment. That was not the case at John Harvey. I was in and out very quickly. I love my Camry and look forward to more great service visits.
We purchased a 2016 platinum Sequioa. Gorgeous, awesome vehicle and an awesome salesman, Bob Tippin. He was so knowledgeable about the car and went through all the workings with us. My mother bought a 2009 Toyota Venza from this dealership, against the family's recommendation. Our family has owned nothing but Toyota's and have purchased all of them from Yokem Toyota. 3 days ago the Venza had a flat on the passenger rear tire. When I came out to change it out with the temporary spare, there was already a sheriff officer there assisting my mom. I did all of the research before I went to the dealership, and they were able to BEAT my target price without much haggling with "The Manager". I have had my Camry serviced there for 5 years. Nick in service has taken care of me everytime and have never had a problem that was not corrected in a professional manner. After such experience I decided to purchase a new Highlander. I purchased a used truck that later broke down within the month. They gave me one key to the vehicle and never gave the other after several attempts to get it myself. I asked for new tires on the vehicle and they said that it's not included in the sale.
I recently bought my wife a 2008 Nissan rogue at John Harvey Toyota. Not only was the staff friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating, but they really made us feel like they wated to earn our business. They worked with us on financing options, as well as price of the vehicle. I would highly recommend this dealership, and look forward to doing business with them in the future!
This is by far the worst Toyota dealership I have ever visited in 3 different states (Louisiana, Maryland and California)having owned a new Toyota for more than 6 years.
first was my experience with the service department on 2 different occasions: once or alignment where they really did not change anything and in fact the rotated tires to rotate counter to what they supposed to (as per manufacturer) to make the car look more stable... never fixed the alignment issue and ended up taking the car to another dealer.

I purchased a 2005 Saturn Ion on Feb. 12, 2012 for my grandaughter. I needed to have it re-inspected in Texas in order to change the registration to her home of record. Immediately after purchasing the vehicle I drove it to my mechanic in Texas for that inspection. The vehicle would not pass inspection in Texas due to a malfunctioning left front turn signal. I had an alignment done, and 2 seat-belts replaced. They charged me $19 for hazardous materials disposal when they didn't use any for either job.
Additionally, they did not re-install the the interior body panels or carpet correctly. One of the body panels was hanging open and the carpet was sticking out from under the side panels.
Lastly, they got grease on the interior and spilled a water bottle on the carpet, saturating it through.
I expect much more when I pay someone almost $800 for such simple work. At a minimum, at least finish the job before calling me to tell ... Read More
